Cleveland Restaurant
When talking about restaurants in Cleveland one has to consider the diversity of Cleveland itself, its heritage and culture. American cities are unique and
take pride in being able to present authentic dishes from every part of the world. So it comes as no surprise that in the Greater Cleveland area there restaurants with menus to suit every palate.
However, there is one restaurant that makes Cleveland indeed very special and in a way sets itself apart from all the rest. You see, there is only one Ethiopian Restaurant in all of Cleveland, and from what the people say who have dined there, it is a unique and thoroughly fine dining experience.
For Cleveland residents in the know, the restaurant of course is the Empress Taytu Ethiopian Restaurant, which has been up until lately sort of a secret.
Hello! I love Empress Taytu. Thanks for satisfying my desire for Ethiopian food in Cleveland.
I read on your website a few weeks ago that you were bringing gluten-free/wheat-free injera to your restaurant as of 3/1. We called yesterday to find out if it was available and we were told it wasn’t. Do you still have plans for doing a gluten-free injera? Thanks!
Hi hi sorry for the delay. You know,I expected the gluten-free/wheat-free injera to be available but I didn’t hear from Carl on when exactly that would be. Let me get back to you and see what the deal is on that process, sourcing…all that good stuff.
Hello Carrie,
Sorry about the delay and confusion, that was a new waitress’ mistake. We have been offering the 95% Teff 5% rice and millet injera (gluten-free/wheat-free) option since March 1st.There is, however, a price difference. This special injera is $3 per injera and a la carte. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the blog. Thanks Again. Really Cool.
